From one who watches both when I have time, I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle.
The truth about HCCA is, they are just another government "grant" funded special interest group that is systematically destroying this country one wilderness area at a time.
Comparable to government funded and created Freddy and Fannie, which IMO were created only to destroy the housing market and reel in the unrestrained free market. Also like government funded and created Medicare/Medicate programs. Which have inflated the cost of health care to the point that the current system is unsustainable. And let’s not forget Home land security created via the patriot act. Arguably the most unconstitutional agency ever concocted by the government second to only the FED and the IRS.
YVI cannot see it, because he has his do-good blinders on. With his help HCCA is only contributing to the governments efforts to take "OUR" property rights away.
BOCC are doing the same thing at the county level. With draconian documents like the LU and SDP resolutions.
Duckie, with help from Beavis (rankin) and Butt-Head(belkin) are doing it in CB. The shed ordinance & horizontal zoning are two examples that come to mind.
When the government becomes self-serving and no longer serves the people, it is time for change.
