With all this dialogue about anonymity and the importance of it, is it absolutely necessary for us to know the names of those individuals who receive a verbal warning for loud music? I think it's an invasion of the right to privacy for those people. Think of it this way...should we also know the names of everyone who receives a speeding ticket or warning? I personally think speeding in a motorized vehicle is much more threatening and potentially dangerous than the decibel level of someone's stereo. Perhaps the police officers just like to embarrass college students.
