1. 10/22/09, officers received a request from a Texas Law Enforcement Agency to conduct a complaint of sexual misconduct. The actors as well as, the criminal episode reportedly took place in Texas and some of the involvements live in Gunnison .
2. 10/25/09, officers received a report concerning a criminal mischief at a campsite near the Aspen Leaf Reservoir. Approximately $675 in damages was reported and officers are working on leads.
3. 10/26/09, officers received a call concerning an attempted break-in at a residence near the Industrial Park, East Highway 50.
4. 10/26/09, officers were called to the Gunnison County Detention Center regarding two male inmates wanting to fight within a cell block. The combatants were calmed down.
5. 10/27/09, officers arrested a 22-year-old Gunnison female on a Drug Court Violation bearing a bond of $60,000. The arrest went without incident at the Gunnison Probation Office.
6. 10/29/09, officers received a report of theft at a residence near Pitkin; accessories from a stored ATV were reported missing.
7. 10/30/09, officers received a report that a dog had been wounded near an address on Tawanka Trail. Investigations revealed that the animal was shot by an unknown individual. The dog was treated and released from the Town and Country Clinic.
8. 10/30/09, officers received a report that there had been an ATV accident in the area of County Road 887 ( Waunita Hot Springs Road ). The lone 67-year-old male was treated and released from Gunnison Valley Hospital .
9. 10/30/09, officers received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence near Highway 135, 2.5 miles north. During the investigation, officers discovered that the vehicle was not stolen. One of the occupants had a Mesa County Warrant for their arrest. The highly intoxicated 22-year-old passenger was arrested on the $1,535 warrant.
10. 11/01/09, at approximately 2:00 am, officers were dispatched to an address near Columbine Drive regarding a possible family dispute. Investigations revealed that there was no criminal activity and the situation had settled down.
11. 10/28/09, officers and Fire were dispatched to a residence near Esty Lane concerning a strong odor of natural gas.
12. 10/29/09, officers and Fire responded to an address near west Highway 50 regarding a “tree fire” call. Investigations revealed that the fire started when hot ash was dumped near the tree. Fire deemed an accident.
13. 10/29/09, officers and EMS responded to a call near Rocky River Lane regarding a 36-year-old having problems breathing.
14. 10/31/09, officers and EMS responded to an address near Overlook, for a 59-year-old female who was in diabetic shock.
15. 11/01/09, at approximately 1:20 am, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department at the 400-block north Main with a male who had a head injury. It is uncertain how he received the injury.
16. 11/01/09, officers were called to an address north of Gunnison regarding a possible dog neglect issue. Investigations revealed that the owner was in jail. A friend of the owner was contacted to take care of the dog.
17. 11/01/09, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department with a domestic “misunderstanding.”
18. 11/01/09, officers received a call concerning damages at a residence 8 miles north of Gunnison . It was reported that on Halloween night person(s) at a neighbors party apparently broke into a structure and did damage. Case is still under investigation.

1. 10/19/09, officers were able to locate the owner of a license plate that was found in the Antelope Hills area.
2. 10/19/09, officers received a report of possible stalking from a female resident; Clark Boulevard . Case continues to be under investigation.
3. 10/19/09, officers were informed of an ATV accident near Sargents where a 71-year-old male and a 13-year-old male were injured. Both were brought to the Gunnison Valley Hospital where they were treated and released.
4. 10/19/09, officers received a report concerning a trespass near Steuben Creek. The reporting party did not want the suspect charged – just wanted to anchor a report.
5. 10/19/09, officers arrested a 27-year-old Gunnison male on a $60,000 warrant for Failure to Comply with Court Order pertaining to Dangerous Drugs. The arrest took place at the Gunnison County Sheriff’s Office.
6. 10/20/09, officers received a report that there was a missing hunter in the Mac Intosh area. The 74-year-old hunter was located in good shape on 10/21/09, at approximately 10:00.
7. 10/20/09, officers took into custody an individual who was on an alcohol commit. The individual was highly intoxicated and was hitchhiking near the intersection of Highway 50 and County Road 20.
8. 10/21/09, officers returned a found cell phone to the rightful owner.
9. 10/21/09, officers were called to an address near Clark Boulevard regarding a possible Domestic Violence situation. Investigations revealed that there was probable cause to believe that crimes occurred. Subsequently, a 34-year-old female resident was arrested on the charges of Domestic Violence, Domestic Harassment, Child Abuse (non-injury) and probation violation.
10. 10/21/09, officers and Western State Mountain Rescue engaged in a search for two hunters in the Powderhorn area. Subjects were found the following day.
11. 10/22/09, officers arrested a 39-year-old Gunnison County male on a $500 Gunnison County warrant. The arrest was made without incident at a residence near Ridge Lane .
12. 10/23/09, officers received a report of burglary at a seasonal residence near Soap Creek.
13. 10/23/09, officers and Western State Mountain Rescue were summoned to locate a missing hunter in the Harris Beaver Creek area. The hunter from Pennsylvania was located.
14. 10/24/09, officers received a report concerning a dog chasing domestic animals north of Gunnison .
15. 10/24/09, officers assisted the US Park Service with an unsecured building near Elk Creek.
16. 10/25/09, officers arrested a 37-year-old Englewood male for Driving While License Revoked, Driving a vehicle that had an Expired Registration and Speeding 13 Miles an Hour over the Posted Limit. The stop was near the Twin Bridges.
17. 10/25/09, officers were dispatched to the jail for a male inmate who had fallen out of bed and bumped his head. The man was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

1. 09/29/09, officers and Human Services investigated the allegations of possible sexual misconduct on a juvenile – case is still under investigation.
2. 10/02/09, officers received a report concerning possible trespass at a ranch near Powderhorn. Survey stakes were situated without permission. The case is under investigation.
3. 10/05/09, officers recovered a stolen bike that was located on campus, Western State College .
4. 10/05/09, officers located a missing horse and assisted in returning the animal back to the owner.
5. 10/05/09, officers received a report concerning a burglary at a business west of Gunnison – case is still under investigation.
6. 10/05/09, officers received a report concerning a chain saw and axe stolen from a storage shed near Big Mesa.
7. 10/05/09, officers, EMS and Fire responded to a debris fire next to a residence with a Navaho Road address.
8. 09/05/09, officers received a report of a stolen bike from a residence near County Road 13.
9. 10/07/09, right after midnight, officers and EMS responded to an address approximately 15 miles north of Gunnison regarding a possible heart attack victim. The male victim refused to be transported.
10. 10/06/09, officers responded to an address near County Road 33, Dos Rios, for a possible trespass.
11. 10/06/09, officers were summoned to a traffic complaint which occurred on east Highway 50. A warning was extended.
12. 10/07/09, officers received a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle that was parked near County Road 13. Officers are working on leads.
13. 10/07/09, officers responded to the mile mark of 4 on Ohio Creek Road regarding a single car rollover. This was an assist for the Colorado State Patrol.
14. 10/08/09, officers received a report of a lost handgun in the area of Deacon Jones Gulch. The weapon is a model 27, .40 caliber Glock. Officers have the serial number to the weapon.
15. 10/09/09, officers received a report of a possible telephone intrusion at an address near Farway Drive .
16. 10/09/09, at approximately 21:10 pm., officers received a report of possible burglary/trespass at a residence near Shavano Drive . Investigation revealed that an ex-boyfriend of the residence was attempting to gain access into the home. Officers arrested the 39-year-old Crested Butte male for DUI.
17. 10/10/09, officers responded to Sandpiper Trail regarding barking dogs in the neighborhood.
18. 10/10/09, at approximately 4:45 am, officers responded to loud party complaint at an address near Ponderosa Way . A 22-year-old female was cited for Disorderly Conduct which is a class 1 petty Offence.
19. 10/10/09, officers were dispatched to an address near Aspen Trail concerning a Domestic Violence report. Investigations revealed probable cause and subsequently a 44-year-old male and a 33-year-old female were arrested for Harassment-Domestic Violence.
20. 10/10/09, Officers received a complaint concerning an attempted telephone scam from a resident who lives near County Road 17. The caller advised that she was in a foreign Country ( Canada ) and needed money to bond out of jail. The potential victim refused to participate.
21. 10/11/09, officers received a report concerning Criminal Mischief and possible trespass near County Road 858, Big Cimarron. It was reported that person(s) unknown had laid a fence down and possibly trespassed onto private land to hunt.
22. 10/11/09, officers received a report concerning a lost firearm in the West Elk Wilderness.
23. 10/13/09, officers conducted a civil assist at an address near Cisneros Lane .
24. 10/13/09, officers received a missing billfold report from a Texas male who was hunting in the area.
25. 10/13/09, officers and search and rescue personnel responded to the West Elk Wilderness for a lost hunter. Subject was located in good repair on 10/14/09.
26. 10/13/09, officers cited a 17-year-old Gunnison male for speeding and possession of beer. The traffic stop took place approximately 6 miles north of Gunnison on Highway 135.
27. 10/14/09, officers received a report concerning a stolen license plate from a vehicle that was parked near County Road 13, north edge of Gunnison .
28. 1014/09, officers responded to an address near Ohio City regarding a possible criminal trespass by a suicidal male. Investigations revealed that a 24-year-old Texas male was suicidal and had in his possession several firearms and was within a residence for which he had no permission to be. Subsequently, the young male was arrested on the charge of 1st Degree Criminal Trespass and also received a mental evaluation.
29. 10/14/09, officers and Western State Mountain Rescue responded to the West Elk Mountain Range regarding a missing hunter – subject was located safe and sound.
30. 10/15/09, officers responded to the Ohio City area regarding a second possible trespass at a residence for the second consecutive day. Subsequently, a 24-year-old Texas male was arrested on the charges of Second Degree Burglary, First Degree Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, Violation of Bond Conditions and Cultivation of Marijuana. The bond for such activity is $20,000.
31. 10/15/09, at approximately 8:35 pm, officers received a report concerning shots being fired within a camping area west of Gunnison . Officers established that the report was unfounded.
32. 10/15/09, officers responded to an address north of Gunnison regarding a dog bite. After interviewing the victim it was discovered that the victim did not want the owner charged.
33. 10/16/09, officers and EMS were dispatched to a location near Arrowhead regarding an ATV accident involving a 79-year-old male. The victim was transported to the Gunnison Valley Hospital for treatment.
34. 10/16/09, officers assisted the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office with a search for a male individual near the top of Monarch Pass. The individual apparently became disturbed while riding a commuter bus and insisted on being let out on the Continental Divide.
35. 10/17/09, officers assisted the Colorado State Patrol with a fatal accident near the 14 mile-marker of Highway 136.
36. 10/17/09, officers received a found BMX type bike that had been found near County Road 48E.
37. 10/17/09, officers received a report concerning a stolen flat bed trailer from an address near County Road 38.
38. 10/17/09, officers received a report that, while people were hiking in the area of County Road 743, Lost Canyon , someone took the keys out of their vehicle. Officers were able to establish who the suspect was. The victim chose not to file charges.
39. 10/17/09, officers and Western State Mountain Rescue were dispatched to a location near Bald Mountain Reservoir regarding a missing 67-year-old Minnesota male. The hunter was located safe and sound.
40. 10/17/09, officers and EMS responded to a trailer within Lakeside Resort for a 76-year-old female who had fallen.
41. 10/18/09, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department with a medical call near the 200 Eat Tomichi Avenue .
42. 10/18/09, officers responded to an address near North Road regarding an unregistered control burn. A warning was extended.

1. 09/26/09, officers, EMS and West Elk Search and Rescue were called to a remote area east of Crawford for a 60-year-old female that had been bucked off a mule and had suffered a head injury. The victim was brought to a location where Flight for Life could land. Victim was then airlifted to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction .
2. 09/27/09, officers, EMS and West Elk Search and Rescue were dispatched to the Lost Lake area of Gunnison County for a 59-year-old Boulder female who had received a knee injury while she was hiking. The lady refused to be transported after being rescued.
3. 09/27/09, officers received a report that a burglary had taken place at a residence within Somerset – several antiques are missing.
4. 09/28/09, officers were called to a Seneca Drive address regarding another barking dog complaint. A second warning was extended by the wishes of the reporting party and the homeowners association will consider sanctions.
5. 09/28/09, officers arrested a 24-year-old Gunnison County female resident on a $10,000 Gunnison County Warrant. The arrest was made at the Gunnison County Sheriff’s Office.
6. 09/28/09, officers received a report concerning a disagreement and possible trespass issue concerning neighbors near the Lost Canyon area.
7. 09/30/09, officers received a report concerning a vicious dog near Silver Sage Drive . A lady was walking her dog when another dog attached her dog. There were no injuries observed and the owner of the other animal is unknown.
8. 09/30/09, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department with a traffic accident near Pizza Hut.
9. 09/30/09, officers received a report concerning a possible credit card theft issue with the victims being residents in Pitkin. Credit card companies are looking into the issues.
10. 10/01/09, officers received a report concerning cell phone harassment.
11. 10/01/09, officers received a report that of possible child endangerment – investigations revealed that the concern was unfounded.
12. 10/02/09, officers received a report concerning survey stakes appearing on private property near the Powderhorn area.
13. Officers received a report concerning an ATV accident in Saguache County near Marshall Pass.
14. 10/02/09, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department concerning search for a suspect – crime unknown.
15. 10/02/09, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department on a loud party on North Wisconsin Street .
16. 10/03/09, at approximately 1:30 am, officers assisted the Gunnison Police Department with looking for a suspect in an assault investigation.
17. 10/03/09, officers arrested a 23-year-old Gunnison male on a $750 Aurora warrant. The arrest was made at the Gunnison County Sheriff’s Office as the individual was attempting to visit a friend who was in jail.
18. 10/03/09, officers assisted the United States Forest Service with a warranted arrest a couple miles north of Gunnison on Highway 135.
19. 10/04/09, officers responded to an address near County Road 51 ( Old City Dump Road ) regarding a trespass and a theft of a dog. The victim did not want to press charges if the animal was returned – the dog was returned.
